Power contracted home by home
Each home contracts for its own peak, so the building pays for the sum of peaks that never happen at the same time.
For build-to-rent and flex-living owners and operators
Banatria runs a residential building’s solar, storage, EV charging and homes as a single system behind one grid connection.
01The problem
Each home contracts for its own peak, so the building pays for the sum of peaks that never happen at the same time.
Adding EV chargers or more solar often needs connection capacity the distributor cannot offer without reinforcing the network first.
Solar, batteries and chargers are installed and run separately. Of the 39 build-to-rent and flex-living assets we analysed, none brings generation, storage and active management together as one system.
02How it works
The building connects through a single supply point and contracts for the power it actually uses at once.
Each home, the common areas and every charger keep their own meter. Costs are allocated transparently, and residents remain free to choose their retailer.
The RICE hub runs solar generation, battery storage, EV charging and demand as one system.
Atria shows and controls every asset behind the connection: live energy flow, solar generation, battery state and charge points balanced inside the contracted power.
03The promise, stated exactly
Obtained from real data on more than 8,000 supply points, in simulation and pending validation in the 2027 pilot. It is a reduction of the bill, not of the energy consumed: that figure is smaller.
01
The building contracts for the power it actually uses at once, instead of the sum of every home contracting as if it were alone.
02
Generation, battery and demand are run as one system, so what the roof produces is used in the building before it goes anywhere else.
03
Consumption that can wait is moved to the hours when energy is cheapest, across the whole building rather than home by home.
04For owners and operators
The three levers act on what the building pays: the power it contracts, the energy it buys from the grid and the hours it buys it in.
Contracting for the power the building really uses at once leaves headroom inside the existing connection for EV charging, without waiting for the network to be reinforced.
Solar, storage, charging and consumption in one console, instead of one application per installation.
Each home keeps its own meter and its freedom to choose a retailer, so the change is invisible to the people who live there.
